We’re pleased to announce another charity partnership. We’ve teamed up with the fantastic organisation, Get Started, to provide free arts and crafts materials to groups who support disadvantaged children, vulnerable adults, and people of all ages with learning disabilities or special needs. Two charities in Aberdeen have already benefitted from our donation: TeamJak and Music 4 U, and there will be plenty more in the pipeline!
The materials have been put to good use by the latter in a new social enterprise, The Ivories Coffee Shop. Here, children can take a time out from the music creation and let their creativity flow in a different direction through artwork. At TeamJak, we hope our donation will contribute to the invaluable practical, social and emotional support the charity offers to children and young people battling cancer and related illnesses.
