We were delighted to be the Dinner Sponsor for a special night of celebration, marking the 40th anniversary of the greatest night in Aberdeen Football Club’s history – defeating Real Madrid in Gothenburg to win the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1983.
The night included a dinner compèred by Rob Maclean and was interspersed with classic footage from the momentous night. Following a drinks reception hosted by the Scottish footballing legend that is Gordon Strachan, there was a Q&A session with the Gothenburg Greats, as well as a live auction. It was a truly memorable night, full of great stories and plenty of laughs.
