RAM Tubulars' New Year Newsletter

31 Jan 2017

What’s been going on at RAM following the Christmas break?

Well, we have hit the ground running and picked up where we left off. The process of separating our Head Office from our Birchwood Yard and moving it to a new site a few miles away in Westhill turned out to be fairly seamless. Our staff were all hands on deck and pulled together as a team to help make the move as slick as possible, so that we would be fully operational again with only a small window of downtime for unpacking and readjusting to our new surroundings.

After a month at our new place, we have all settled in just fine. With it also being a new start in our new environment, we are looking to continue making the business even better.

We are currently working on streamlining and improving our procedural systems in the office, we are revamping our RAM skips, containers and equipment and in addition to that, the yard at Birchwood has been undergoing a lot of improvement work too with a new concrete surface laid down and new OCTG bays installed. We are also in the process of closing down our Snaith site in England and moving to a new facility in Althorpe Quay on the banks of the River Trent.

Over the course of the next few months, we are looking to strengthen our team and our resources. We plan to increase our presence in the marketplace and remain at the forefront of our competitors with our unique edge in diversifying what we do, to stay ahead in these changing times.
