RAM Tubulars Scotland Ltd have chosen to support Friends of ANCHOR for 2018.
Last year, RAM employed another two new members of staff as a result of our further growth and success. We welcomed Mark Kerr in February and Elaine Morley soon after in June. After more than a good few months here, we feel it’s time to share a little more about them…
At the end of 2016, RAM acquired a new site to be our English distribution base:–Althorpe Wharf near Scunthorpe.
This year RAM Tubulars took over the sponsorship of the *Grampian Athletics League*. Subsequently it is now known as the *RAM Athletics League* and we are delighted to be playing a part in helping young athletes start out at grass roots level.

On the 2nd July RAM arranged a Corporate Day for staff and clients to go down to *Knockhill Racing Circuit* to cheer on our sponsored driver Hannah Chapman in the Celtic Speed Scottish MINI Cooper Cup.
RAM were recently approached to see if we had a suitably sized container that we’d be willing to donate to *Middleton Park Primary School* and of course, we were delighted to offer our help to the local community.

A fantastic effort by RAM Tubulars' Mark Mellor this morning cycling a whopping 42 MILES (67km) from his house to Head Office for Global Cycle to Work day! This meant his commute on this occasion started at 5:20am and took 2hrs 36mins -go Mark!

RAM Tubulars Scotland Ltd are delighted to announce that we have a stand confirmed for the *SPE Offshore Europe* Conference & Exhibition in Aberdeen 2017.
Following a record amount of heavy rainfall that hit Aberdeen and surrounding areas in January 2016, rivers burst their banks and many local communities were affected. Homes were evacuated, roads were closed and it took a long time and a lot of help to reverse the effects of this unexpected event.
We now have 2 operational sites in Aberdeen following our recent Head Office move and with our growth in premises comes a growth in our staff numbers.
What’s been going on at RAM following the Christmas break?
Here we have Fiona and Hannah representing RAM Tubulars yesterday at the *Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital* for our big cheque handover from our fundraising throughout Hannah’s race season in the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup.
As we head on into the winter months here at our Birchwood yard, we may complain about the bitterly icy breeze and frosty cold mornings but when hometime approaches, so does the spectacular sunsets so we couldn't resist sharing this fiery photo we took a few days ago on the evening of the "Super Moon" appearance...
We are now at the halfway point with Hannah’s racing season in the Celtic Speed Scottish MINI Cooper Cup and it’s safe to say our RAM Racing Driver has had her fair share of ups and downs yet again this year.
RAM Tubulars' employees and their guests recently enjoyed a great day at the Perth Festival in April. The sun was shining so it was a great excuse for everyone to model the fabby Crabbies sunglasses.

RAM Tubulars have invested in a new storage yard. The 2.23 acre site is located at Snaith, Goole in Yorkshire and was acquired by the company in July 2013.
